This page explains how to request deletion of your Cadieux account and associated data, in line with our Privacy Policy.
How to request deletion
- In the app: go to the Account tab and contact support to request deletion.
- Or email support@cadieux.in from your registered email or phone number with the subject line “Delete my account”.
- We verify the request via your registered phone number, then process it.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, email, phone number, and marketing preferences.
- Saved delivery addresses.
- Reviews you posted.
- Push notification tokens.
What we must retain — and why
Order and invoice records
Retained for 8 years as required by Indian tax law (CGST Act, Section 36), in a restricted form not linked to an active account.
Marketing-consent records
Retained for up to 3 years as proof of consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).
Processing timeline
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of identity verification.
