Why Cadieux Bread Doesn't Compare Itself to Other Bread

People ask me how Cadieux compares to the other protein breads out there. The honest answer is — I never built it to compare.

I started Cadieux because I wanted a bread I could actually enjoy while staying on track. Not a bread that tasted like punishment for skipping the gym. I'm a guy who loves a good chicken biryani, who falls off the wagon sometimes, who's still figuring out the balance like everyone else. I just didn't want to give up taste to get protein.

I looked everywhere — Instagram, the web, every health store I could find. Nothing fit what I had in my head. I tasted protein bread from different states, including what was coming out of Bangalore — but none of it could even reach me here. It wasn't serviceable in Vizag, in Visakhapatnam, in Andhra Pradesh at all. So I had two problems in front of me: nobody was serving this region, and even what existed elsewhere had room to be better.

So I built it.

I'm not a baker. I'm a business guy — BBA, years in sales, pitching products in every format you can imagine, online and offline. I know how to sell something. What I didn't know was how to make something worth selling. So I found a consultant, researched across India, and spent two years getting the recipe right. Lab tests. Iterations. More iterations.

That process taught me something I didn't expect: this was never about beating another brand. It was about building something that didn't need to.

Cadieux stands for strength — not just in the bread, but in the idea behind it. Small steps. Showing up again after you fall off. Choosing something a little better today, not because someone told you to, but because you wanted to.
