Strength Nutrition: Building a Plate That Earns Its Calories
I don't think about food in terms of diets. I think about it in terms of strength — does this earn its place on my plate, or is it just filling space.
That idea is the actual foundation Cadieux is built on, more than any single recipe.
**What strength nutrition means to me**
It's not about eating perfectly. I still eat chicken biryani. I still fall off track some days, like everyone does. Strength nutrition isn't about avoiding that — it's about most of your plate, most of the time, doing real work instead of just taking up space.
**Why "earns its place" matters more than "is healthy"**
"Healthy" gets thrown around until it means nothing. "Earns its place" is a sharper question — does this food give you something back, or does it just sit there. A slice of bread that's mostly empty carbs doesn't earn its place. A slice that's carrying real protein does.
**How this shows up in what we build**
Every Cadieux product follows the same rule: taste and strength together, not one traded for the other. I didn't want a protein bread that felt like a sacrifice. I wanted one that earned a spot on the plate next to the food you actually enjoy.
**Strength isn't one big decision**
It's small, repeated ones. The bread you reach for most mornings. The breakfast that takes six minutes instead of an hour. None of it is dramatic. All of it adds up.
That's the whole philosophy, really. Build a plate that earns its calories, one ordinary choice at a time.
