Healthy Bread in Visakhapatnam: A Local Buyer's Guide

CadieuxJune 22, 2026Protein Education

Every bread wrapper in Vizag claims to be the healthy one. Most of that claim is in the font size, not the ingredients.

Here's what actually separates a high-protein loaf from a loaf that just says so.

**Check the protein-to-carb ratio, not just the protein number**

A big protein number means nothing if the carbs are bigger. The ratio between the two tells you whether you're eating real protein bread or sweetened bread with a protein sticker on it.

**Check the ingredient list length, not just the front label**

Short list, recognizable ingredients — that's usually a good sign. A long list of stabilizers and gums is usually bread built for shelf life, not for you.

**Check who tested it**

"Lab-tested" should mean something specific — an actual lab, an actual report, not a number someone wrote on a design file. Ask the brand if they'll show you the report. If they won't, that tells you something.

**Check where it's actually baked**

Bread that travels far needs to survive the trip. That usually means more preservatives, less freshness, and a longer gap between oven and your kitchen.

**Where Cadieux fits**

We're not asking you to take our word for any of this. We're asking you to apply the same checklist to us that you'd apply to anyone else. Real ratio. Short ingredient list. Independent lab testing. Baked in Visakhapatnam, not shipped in.

That's the whole pitch. No louder than that.

**See for yourself**
